It was about 95 degrees, and drenching humidity as it is summer time in the Philippines now. Oddly enough, after about 2 hours of shooting, I was exhausted!! And soaked!! lol The zoo charges 40 pesos to get in, (about 95 cents Canadian) so, pretty good value considering everything, Just wish they had the A/C on!!!

Did anyone notice the annoying spot on the top right of the first owl photo? I am sure it is dust on my sensor of my D70, should I buy a can of compressed air? I am new at DSLR, so at tip would be helpful.

Great photos...

Don't use compressed air. Do a search on how to clean the sensor. I think the best/most popular methods are a blower or special sensor cleaning pads.

Amazing photos. I really like 1, 4 and 5. The colours are great.

the first one is awesome!!! and third one also! and fourth one even better! Wow.. the eyes in the fifth are wonderful... a bit spooky :P

These are gorgeous! Makes me want to renew my zoo membership. Nicely done.

Gorgeous photos! As for the sensor thing, buddy, I got specks 4 times as big on mine! Not that I'm bragging or anything...

I really need to get some sensor cleaning swabs.
