Nice shots! I really like the viper one in particular.

I'm not overly keen on the composition you used for the venus flytrap photo, my eye keeps sliding down to the bottom left corner. But still not a bad shot

I am getting mixed reviews on that one, I had a friend say she didn't like it and my significant other say that he loved the composition (both objectively). Here is a shot that I prefer of the same plant, I just posted that one to get more opinions on it to decide if it is worth keeping or not.

Actually, I like the first shot better than the later ones, it's more unique. The other ones are good too, though.

With the first shot, I do like it quite a bit, but it's missing something that I can't quite put my finger on....maybe with a wider DOF? I'm not sure.

I know what you mean. My eye doesn't know where to land in it. Almost like it would have been better if it were not a black background.

Awesome critters! The viper shot is the strongest, IMO, the most thought-provoking. The drops of water on her look incredible! One thing that might look better though, was if her head was in the foreground rather than towards the rear. I just find the OOF part of her body right in front to be a bit distracting. The shadows on the head are a bit dark too, but you might be able to use that to your advantage.

I like the last VFT shot the best, I think it has the most impressive composition.

Thanks Natalie. I agree with what you said about the viper but I had to work with how she was positioned. I did not want to manuver her or bother her since she is gravid.
