Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hey everyone. I am new to the forum, and also a fairly new photographer. I was wondering if anyone would look at my portfolio and let me know what you think. Photography started as a hobby for me to pass the time in Iraq, but now I have a huge passion for it. Any feedback would be awesome, please just don't rip me a new one.

Thank you so much -Jarrod-

Would you be kind and post 2-3 photos you want a critique for here?

I'll try and see what I can do.

this is jmho, others may disagree.

#1 and #4 are leaned to the left. I feel uncomfortable to look at it that way. I like b&w version more, but I'm really not sure what did you want to express with them.
#3 harsh light, look at the shadow on her neck.
#2 overexposed, bad light and to much color all aver the place.

You'll certainly hear more...

I agree with Mmaria really. My personal opinion is that the post production on all of them is subpar. The sepia conversion is dark and muddy, the colored one is over sharpened and over sat'd, the lighting is just really poor on the third one. They look like images where you are getting familiar with your software and doing crazy edits just to see what turns up, which I am all for and its how I learn, but its not something you put up as a finished image.
I'd love to see your SOOC snaps of these, what are you shooting with?

Looks like you are on your way!! I like a lot of them...seems like you have a good eye...but personally I can't take the ultra-processing Instagram looking effect. I think a lot of folks on here would say the same. But good start!! I like the B&W shot
