Critique for self portraits?

These are a couple of headshots I took recently, and would love some feedback. #2, especially, has a little bit of an "artsy" feel to it, but I thought it came across kind of mysterious. Would love to hear what you guys think!

I personally really like number two- more than number 1. It's very nice.

I think your eyes look very pretty in both. But, I have to agree that I like #2 just a smidge better because the lighting isn't so blown on your face.

Agreed with number 2, but in my opinion the white of the eye is TOO white, like you over dodged it. It's distracting in my opinion. I like everything else about it though.
