Is there any site where beginner can post their photos and receive critiques and some suggestions for improvement?

right here at TPF! just post your thread with the pictures in the gallery sections. just scroll down in the forum and you'll see sub-forums like landscape and nature, people and pets, photojournalism, and many more. if you don't now how to post pictures, there's stickies throughout the site.
