Cropped too tight?

Not sure if this is too much crop or not. I like it although I am biased so I thought I would throw it up here for debate.

Ya, the cut off helmet bothers me too. Could you try it with a little more space in front of the rider? I always prefer that a moving subject is moving into the frame rather than out of it.
 
This makes three saying that the cropped off helmet bothers her...
 
It really doesn't bother me as is, but I can easily see where the other comments are coming from. The cropped helmet just changes the point of interest for me to be more on the bike and the motion and less on the rider. It works for me as is, but I would also be interested to see some other variations.
 
I agree with everyone on the technical merits/dis-merits. I was just trying something a little different and really "tight". I have so many panned shots from this weekend that they all sort of start to look exactly alike so I thought I'd mix it up a bit.
