Cropping Question

ok question regarding cropping.

My Nikon D50 spec states I have a 3008 x 2000 sensor and an image ratio of 3:2 according to the specs listed on DPReview which is basically just a copy of Nikon's official specs and I didn't feel like weeding through the nikon website to find the specs

Anyway, If the above info is true then I should be fine to print 4x6 pictures directly from my camera with no cropping or editing since 4:6 is simply double 3:2 correct?

Yes. Straight from the camera the images can be printed at 4x6 without cropping (you lose a little 'hair' of the image).
