Cruise photo ideas TFP help needed

Curacao
Aruba
These are the ports we will be going to in 3 weeks. I would greatly appreciate advice on shooting ashore, and on the ship.
I'm taking 16-85 , 35 1.8, 70-300vr2 g. all Nikon, D5100 sb600 and a Carbon tripod. Bats and cards
I know many of you have been there done that. Any and all advice please. Thanks Ed

On Aruba.... You have to see the windward side of the island as it is so different and eerie. There is a natural rock bridge on that side as well.....don't be out there at dark ...not safe

When you get to the warmer places don't forget about your camera fogging up when you go from AC controlled inside to the humid air outside. You can't just run out and get a shot of that one interesting thing that pops up, unless you like using the "fog" filter.

The rock bridge is no longer there IIRC....
