D300 and want to try video

Well I have a D300 and it fits my needs. I been wanting to play with video and the pocket hd cam I picked up is not cutting it for me. I have good glass and was thinking of picking up another body that would be used just for video. If I can be pointed in the right direction that would be great of if someone has a better move that can be done then I am open minded as long as it does not break the bank.

I have a 3100 that I use for b-roll footage all the time. I mostly use a 35mm or 50mm prime on it because the AF system is wicked noisy and not smooth.

Sell the D300, get a well cared for, used D300s.
