D5200 seosor and D7100, is it same sensor ?

So I read in some places the sensor on the D5200 and the sensor on the D7100 is the same sensor only the D7100 has removed the AA filter and in some other places the claim is that its a complitely different sensor.

We all know both these sensors are almost identical in performance so I am just curious to know if any of you know if they are the same sensor or not.

I have read from two sources that both share the same Toshiba-made sensor...not a SONY sensor, but one made by Toshiba.

I have read several time that it is the same sensor minus the AA filter.

So it looks like they went same way as with the D5100 and D7000 with same sensor and simply removed the AA filter on the D7100.

And yes I knew the sensor is made by Toshiba and not by Sony as it is on the D5100 & D7000
