i recently purchased can d7 and 100-400l lens and cannot get a sharp image I sent back to canon and was told it was within their specs. I had another professional take pics and he could not get a sharp immage. Has anyone else had this problem

I had the same on the 60D, but it was all my fault.. Learn more about the camera and you will get ammazing results..

To make sure it is not a physical problem, shoot with high shutter speed, use a tripod, low ISO, lower apture (higher f/no.), manual focus and use a 2 second drive etc.. As Canon said that the camera is fine and that didn't work then it could be the lens. Try another lens to know if it is from the lens.
