D7000:HELP ME...!

Hi,
I am going to buy a d7000 next month.I dont know which lens to buy.I am on a very tight budget.I can either buy 18-105 or 50mm 1.8G/D. Please suggest me which lens to buy again i am on a avery tight budget. I can spend $250(Highest) for lens.I will be mostly capturing portrait and nature.

Not knowing exactly what your budget is... I got a d7000 w/ 18 - 105 package for $900.00 not a month ago. While the 50 (75 on a crop sensor) at 1.8 is a fast lens, I believe the 18 - 105 (27 - 160, roughly) would be a better lens for what you plan to shoot.
