Hmmm, Only thing I can think of is the image is very very warm. It's either shadow or warm colors, perhaps an area of cooler colors to contrast the warm might help. Just an idea, it could turn out horrible...

Red bed sheets, white sheer fabric, pink stained glass lamp, bottle, some chain mail jewelry......

and my pos nikon coolpix on macro mode.

I was definately going for the warm look, though, so it doesn't bug me at all.

Outstanding! Must have taken a long tine to set up the shot? I generally do not care for commercial photography but i would hang this pic on the wall

edit... On second thought, it's not a commercial shot....it's just a great piece of artistic photography.
