photos are tilted, i think a more "straight" photo would've been better.

I like number 1 best. As for the tilting, it may be because of the camber on the road. If you try again consider using a tripod and a spirit level, 'though if you stand in the middle of the road that may not be needed. I tried my own take on the photo with WB adjusted and cropping the top streetlight out... I'm not an expert and this is a personal viewpoint only!

Not sure I got the WB right but it gives another perspective if nothing else.



And again with the tilt corrected - I tried to balance the angle of the car with the angle of the trees and arrive at a realistic compromise.

Yeah i kind of feel the same. I don't see anything wromg with these photos.
