Hey everyone. I was shooting with a 35mm Nikon F-601 on a B/W film. When the film was over, I mistakenly opened the camera without rewinding the film. I immediately closed it back, rewinded the film and took it out. Is my film ruined?? :(

Unfortunately the answer is yes. Most shots will be badly fogged if you can see anything at all.

Depends how much light there was when you opened the back.
I did it once and only once at a wedding. Lost about 20% of the shots but not all... It you were outside most likely it is toast.

Relax...process the film.
If you were quick and not in bright sunlight you won´t have lost too much.

( ;) and you´ll remember next time...we´ve all done it...)

depends, I once did that and only lost the last 3 pictures. The rest were fine, no fogging at all. so dont bin it, at least try

It depends on many factors. If you were quick enough and it wasn't too bright, they may be ok or only a few destroyed. Just wait until you get it back to decide.
