Different types of Fish-eyes?

Well, hey again. I've basically been compiling a bunch of information on different types of lenses that I will be saving for. I figure if I get a good idea now, that by the time I have the money... I'll know for sure whether or not it is the right lens for me.

As for Fisheye lenses... I've always wanted one of these.

What are the different types of Fish-eye lenses? If you know what people generally use the different types for, that would help as well. I've seen a lot of different types of these, and I'm not sure what purpose each individualization serves.

There's generally two flavors.... full-frame and circular.

Full-frames cover 180° corner-to-corner. Circulars produce a circular image centered in the frame (usually 180° along the shorter dimension of the sensor).
