I was an avid photographer , don't think there was a day in 8 years when I didn't have a camera slung around my neck . Unfortunately due to illness it was a much enjoyed hobby that dissolved . I still own my original Nikon F50D and was lucky enough to purchase a Pentax SFX with variable macro and zoom lenses , filters , etc . I'm looking to buy myself a decent 10 mp+ digital SLR and am wondering that although Nikon / Pentax SLR lenses are not compatible if I were to purchase a digital Pentax whether I would be able to use the current varied lenses I have .

:er:

It looks like to me if you have SMC-F (lenses sold at the time of your body) lenses you should have no problem with a new Pentax Digital K body. Pentax advertises that you can use any Pentax lens on their cameras, some need adapters and just some function may be in manual mode. Deppends on the lens. But the answer is yes you could use them. Just deppends on what model they are and how much automatic stuff will work.
