Do you get sunburn?

I thought that with olive skin, I will never get sunburn. Wrong! and yes it was awful while it is peeling off. I looked like a dotted monkey.

YES. I am just recovering from my nasty toast that happened a week ago.

On the plus side, I'm kinda tan now. For the first time in 5 years.

No sonbearn for me neither. Don't hit me L.

Dang - e.rose enjoys a brew too! What kind?

Blue Moon is my beer of choice.

Sauvignon Blanc, when I want wine.

Unless I'm dropping a little more $$ then we go for Conundrum.

Yes, but we only get a few sunny days a year so it's not a problem.

My skin only has two states:

Sunburned to Hell
Farmer's Tan

There is no in-between.

I live in a desert and i like to shoot desert landscapes and excavate for marine fossils and I have never had sunburn due to massive stupid looking hat and factor 50 sun block.

I'm French olive (I think we've had Portuguese olive and Puerto Rican olive in this thread already) so I rarely ever burn. Never here at this latitude. I once nearly died (or wished to, anyway) in Cuba after spending a day on a paddle boat on the ocean. The sun is just a little bit harsher down there!

My son got my olive skin, and is beautifully tanned no matter how much sunblock I slop on him. The little one, however, got all the Scottish blood and is practically clear. She wears a lot of hats.

If I stand next to somebody wearing mirrored sunglasses, I'll get a burn from the reflection.

Oh my god, it's like porn! In grammar form! My linguist's heart is all a-flutter! :lovey:
