Can't seem to find anywhere if the D750 shoots video at a constant frame rate, or if it's variable frame rate. I'm assuming constant, but for audio syncing purposes, I need to know if I need to run it through Handbrake.

Thanks!

Yes. But you have to choose/set the resolution and the frame rate.
If you use Manual mode, convention is to set the shutter speed to 2x the frame rate.

I do know about the rule, but what I don't know is how shutter speed interacts with frame rate.

Also, I'm not sure if the camera recording with variable or constant frame rate would be dependent on your shutter speed. I think it's a software thing.
