These are pretty nice =) The only thing that I can give you advice on is get down to the puppies level even if it means having to get your shirt or pants dirty. If you get down to their point of view it makes the images look much more appealing .

Oh! Congrats on the new Nikon D40, I have one as well and I love it so much too!
