Doing a Photo shoot on a Car need some tips

for cars i tend to shoot early morning usually by 8 or 9 (depending on where you are) the sun is getting to high to bother shooting them. or you can do the same in late afternoon. early just usually works out better for me. when shooting interior shots i'll take the car in complete shade so im not dealing with any shadows. other then that, look for interesting angles. make sure its clean. and i'll usually look for a clean background and let the car stand out on its own.

Thanks for the info, I was also thinking of taking some of the cars to some roads in the everglades but i don't know if that will make a cool background? any Ideals i live in south Florida in Parkland.

not from around there though i am headed to disney in 3 weeks. roads are good. if its a single color car sometimes you can put it in front of a nice grafiti wall for some contrast. some everglades in the background could work as long as the car and background dont clash. if the car is multi toned or colored i try to keep the background more simple. for your cars im guessing single color. but for the style of car a grafiti wall wouldnt be very apealing.

A cobblestone street/driveway would provide some good texture for the cars. Is there an area of the city with nice buildings (courthouse, town hall etc.) that you could use?

I have a car shoot next week.

If that can help you.

I plan on using 4 strobe outside to lit that crar as much as possible.
ill use a wide angle and a 24-70 like someone said, get on the ground!

shoot will be in front of a multi million dollard house.

Time of day is crucial if you are not using off camera lighting. Definately use a CPl for reflections. Shoot in raw.

Ya there is a town hall and other stuff.

The Problem is i live in a NICE area of FL that is devolved and does not have any like graffiti. I would have to drive like 45 min to get to see some graffiti.

I love to use old factorys and industrial stuff like that
