Donating some extra stuff I don't need (umbrellas, lightstand)

I have three 43" gold umbrellas and two smaller umbrellas, a 33" gold and a 27" silver.

I have one low end light 72" lightstand... that would be ok for flash, but I wouldn't put a monolight on it. (it does include an umbrella flash adapter)

Donating to anyone that wants them... but you have to explain why you want it.. and how you intend to use. Just a short blurb.. no long paragraphs needed.

I will judge what you write and divvy the stuff up based on that. Next weekend will be the deadline. I will cover shipping within the continental US. These are not worth shipping elsewhere.


I will do the lightstand, umbrella adapter and one 43" umbrella to someone that is wanting to try using this type of gear, and currently doesn't have any! Or I might consider someone who wants to move from one light source to two light sources... lets see what happens.

I would fall into the final sentence of your quote.I've recently been dabbling in off camera flash.I have the Promaster 7500,and figured out the commander mode,as well as the HSS (Auto FP)I don't want to step on any toes,but I would like to throw my name in the hat.I have neither umbrellas,or stands.

Charlie, I could use the stand and the 43' umbrella. I would use them in combination with my speed light and use my other stand for my reflector. The 43 is bigger than the 33 that I currently have and will help even out the portrait lighting.

A fine lens IMO. Very pleasing bokeh and can be tack sharp. Color redition is superb. Have fun with it.

Gold umbrellas? ..... I can understand.

I am looking forward to the 300.. with a nikon 1.4 TC, it should let me reach out with better quality than the 70-200 with the 2x TC.

They do make for some nice Warm skin tones! lol!

Hello!

As you know, I am a young photographer! If you are not familiar with my recent work please look (Flickr: GabeWisePhotography's Photostream). Though I have done quite a bit of lighting (self-portraits and such) I have not posted it just to keep the person behind the camera save (I did some of my sister as well). I would be very interested in this gear because at the moment though I have 2 speedlights (Yongnuo) I am lacking on the side of the modifiers. I have a 9 inch softbox but that is it. I would also benefit from the stand because I am currently using a tripod from K-Mart (1970's era) that has dented my wall from falling repeatedly. I hope to be considered for the donation and I appreciate you doing this.

No worries. Spread the wealth my friend. I owe you WAY too much for the lessons anyway. I've about got the lovely wife talked in to being my assistant to hold the reflector.

I could totally use the light stand and umbrella I would use it with 580 exii I am trying to get the flash off the camera I would use it for newborn, seniors a little boudair and kids. Eventually some wedding photography been trying to get the flash off and when money is tight every little bit helps. But even more thanks for showing people kindness!
