Don't Look Now...It's Another Newbie!

Greetings to all!

My name is Tom. I have been a lurker on TPF for a few weeks now while reading up on DSLR cameras and photography. I picked up a Nikon D3000 which came with the DX 18-55mm lense and an extra lense, the DX 55-200mm. The camera shop I purchased from offers a free 8 week beginner course which I'm excited about taking.

My areas of interest with regards to shooting are outdoors (I live in wine country) and city scenes. I look forward to the feedback and critiques and making improvements.
