Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I wanted something to help remember my dorm room and thought this would be a good opportunity to apply this technique. It isn't a perfect stitch due to lens distortion, etc... but it's good enough for me. Working with 49 images takes a lot of RAM, btw, lol. Enjoy!

BTW, I realize the image could be optimized with a little photoshopping but I like the raw image in this case.

:)

I read the thread title as...

dorm pornography

Same here, I was just hoping it was misspelled....:lmao:

That is a pretty neat stitching of shots, though.

Tsk Tsk to all you boys...:p
Atleast I think you are boys.... Right?
Supposedly people only read the first and last letters in a word, and then the letters in between do not have to be in order... Just thought I'd mention that, haha.

Any who... I love the shot, and the idea! I want to give it a try now... I really like how you can see how it is spliced together :D

Hmm ... I must be either tired or expect different things ... I didn't get tripped up by the title at all.

Thank you for the nice comments everyone! I always appreciate feedback.

Although this technique is VERY time consuming, it produces some incredibly interesting photos.

Thanks for looking, guys!

Thats true the first and last letter have to be in the right order and as long as all the rest of the letters are there you can read it. I wnet to the stroe, I got mlik and berad. like that haha. Im doing a project like this in my photography class for my school right now, its film photography so its alittle hard when you have to cut the paper and stuff like that but its fun, i like doing it. Nice work

I fell into the Dorm trap also! At least I won't get a nasty virus this time.......I like the way you put it together, Maybe I would had went a little darker but thats just me. Good shot anyhow,.

the unprocessed looking makes it pretty cool, what size is each square individually??

800x600 IIRC

Yea, I've seen the analog version of this. INCREDIBLY hard to do. There is a nice flickr group about analog panography. http://flickr.com/groups/388900@N22/
