Its obvious that he fill flashed the guy and did some vignetting, nothing fake about the subject or the train.......

all it takes is a tiny fraction of a second for the gap in the train to make the sun stream through like that... its the sun, its brighter then the train..

I like it , its different...

Great shots. I agree on some of the posing though, a little feminine wth a few. I think 6 is an awesome shot. It wouldnt look great without the fill flash, because then he wouldnt be so much the focus of attention. I also agree with the B&W critique you got.
