Early Mornin' River

I was out early Sat morning and went down to the river to try for some first light photos. This one was prior to the sun making it over the horizon but I liked it better than some I took after the sun shined. Whatcha think?

there it is. and its a great shot, really like the fog on the top of it. seems a little slanted off the right though, great lighting!

Thanks man! I do see the slant but when I put it in photoshop and put a level guide line its even... hmm, must be an optical illusion

Pretty cool shoot. But...my personal preference would be a bit more sky to give the shot a sense of space. As is...it kind of has a claustrophobic feel to it.

Thanks Mighty! I agree, I too like to see more sky.. with it being really early the sky would just blow out due to the over shadowed river bed. I guess this would have made a really good HDR.
