All,
I just recently returned from a trip to photograph the aurora borealis for the first time. I'm no expert photographer (only have a D5100), and I played around with shutter speeds and such to try to get the best shots possible. We were lucky enough to see it three times, and now I'm going through and trying to play around in Lightroom to edit the photos. I'm not doing a very good job of playing around with the controls, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what I should set the Lightroom settings to (or any other critiques) for each of the attached photos to make them look better:
