End of an era.

I was asked to photograph the tearing down of an old fire station today.

I worked at this station for 16 years before I moved to my current station. It was snowing outside, cold, and wet.

This is the hose tower going down. 35 minutes to tear the entire building down.

It was sad to see it gone but I guess that is progress.
