Hi everyone! I´m originally from Stockholm / Sweden, but am now living in the mid-east Finland. I am pretty new to this site, although I have uploaded some photos already. I hope to meat other people with photo interests and that have tips and tricks regarding photography.

My camera is a Canon EOS 1100D with a normal lens.

I love all kinds of photos, but I would likte to learn how I should do to take night-photos of the sky, wich I dont know as yet. When I try, it´s just darkness or a big blur.

it should be Canon 1100D wit kit lens! not normal lens! else except kit(normal) lens,every other lens is retarded? LOL

Look for discussions about using a DSLR for astrophotography.
Long exposures and the need to use slow shutter speeds pretty much makes a good steady tripod a necessity for doing night sky work.
A lot of people piggyback their DSLR on a telescope that has a motor driven equitorial mount.
