Have a print in excellent condition that is 8"H x 24"L. Taken in 1930's with I believe a panoramic camera that was used for large group photos. It is black and white. I would like information on what is best method for trying to enlarge this in order to use as a display. Would like to go about 3-4 times larger. Where should I take this and what equipment should the facility have? Thanks , Ted

I would take it to a graphic arts/print shop with a high-end scan scanner who can give you a digital file which can then be printed by any large lab.

There aren't all that many labs that can make an 8 foot long print.

As mentioned, the first step is to get a high quality scan made of the print you have. Once the image is digitized it's size can be increased.

You might take a look at Photo Enlargement and Photo Printing at PhotoatLarge Printing Services.

A 4x print (96") will run you about $100.
