Epson printer? Which one?

Looking for a nice printer to make some nice 8x10, 11x14 prints. I'm also getting a film scanner but was looking at the Canon 9950F and read some good reviews on it. Would mixing the Canon with the Epson seem like a big deal, or just small annoyances in software probally? So I'm look at the Epson Stylus 1280 or even possibly the Stylus R1800. Any suggestions? Thanks guys. Off to work

The 1280 was a great printer for its time... but its pretty much obsolete now a days. I'd go with either the 2200 or the R1800. Both use inks have better archival qualities and print quality.

Btw... Nope.. Mixing and matching scanner and printers shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure the profiles are correct.
