Hi there everyone!

I am going to be acquiring liability insurance for my photography business, but I was also wondering if I should get Errors & Omissions Insurance as well, even though my wedding and portrait contracts state that I am not liable for more than the cost of services if I have (for example) a memory card failure.

Anyone actually have this type of insurance?

Is it a good idea?

Thanks,
Canaan

I do but it is because I'm also a graphic designer. Actually, the design side has been growing faster than the photography so EO was a no brainer. I'm not sure you need it unless you are offering press products. For me it was necessary because I'm putting together 200 page catalogs or having 100,000 brochures printed and the cost to reprint is just not in the budget. I would definitely ask your lawyer their opinion.
