I don't try to accomplish anything with my photography anymore, pure enjoyment.
Leica CL (digital) ISO 400 1/200sec f1.1 Voightlander 50mm 1.1
Adobe Lightroom Converted Raw to JPEG increased exposure, lowered white level just a touch and adjusted for lens.
Low light, home kitchen,
I would have cleaned the background up and re-framed the shot

not bad .. it's like shot from shutterspace in some magazine .. put more space to the bottom so glass will have there a little additional space, maybe also lit that somehow but it doesn't look bad ... really

I agree that having the measuring cup cut off at the bottom is a bit distracting however instead of cropping lower I would recommend pulling back just a bit so you can keep the the buttons and dials in frame as well.

How would you re-frame it next time?

Unsure why you pulled back the whites as it looks a bit under exposed. This could have been part of your vision. Disregard if that is the case.
