I like the tigher crop, it helps to really focus the attention on the subject.

Exposure looks good, subject is interesting and you caught some great emotion. Really a great shot in my opinion!

Nice exposure and depiction of character. A main subject is clearly depicted, but perhaps it is too centered in the frame. I think more picture added to the right border would have improved the composition.

Although normally I would agree with the centering of the image, in this case, the use of the foreground to frame the subject makes the centering work for me.

I agree with Chase on this one. The second crop give the image more power and the line of people on the right lead your eye right to the subject. I think the framing here is top notch!
