Haven't posted recently; working on taking IR photographs, using Sony DSC-F707. Here' one I like.

Wow - that's really striking! Is that with a modified cam, or with filters/tripod?

Thanks.

The Sony DSC-F707 has a "nightshot" mode for military-like, total blackness infrared images. This camera mode, however, can be used in broad daylight with an IR-pass filter and at least an X8 ND filter screwed onto the front of the 58mm lens. The shutter speed can be as high as 1/60 in this mode, allowing handheld photos such as this one.

The IR filter does not quite remove all of the color spectrum, so the post processing in Photoshop is a matter of finding and emphasizing the colors which leaked through, and using layers to isolate the colors into various areas and/or objects of the picture.
