Have been playing around with B&W conversion and high contrast adjustments. Here are a couple of the results. Any comments, suggestions, etc appreciated. Thanks, TI

i really like the 2nd one. is that a mail box in the first one? a more close up of that may be nice...
 
I'm gonna have to go against the grain (no pun intended) on the second one. I don't like it. I think the contrast is too high, it seems to be too black and white with not enoguh midtones. I think its started to take on this effect -

It becomes almost like its printed with a stencil with black in with no grey.

The first one works better I think, its less harsh and has a better composition I think.

Its great to experiment thoguh.
 
Thanks for the input.. I always like to hear what works for people and what doesn't.
