I came across a roll of Tmax 100 that had been in the back of a drawer. The expiration date is 11/06. It should still be okay, right?

Only one way to find out..

I had a similar experience. Found a roll of Elitechrome slide film in a drawer. No idea the date it was from, but it was 5 years expired minimum. The pics came back ok, but the colors are all purpley.

It should be fine. The standard practice to ensure quality is to date film 2 years shorter than it is expected, under standard storage temperatures (room temp), to still yield acceptable results. ASA 100 film is fairly resilient, and black and white film even more so that color. Chances are that you'll have perfectly fine results.. I regularly use outdated black and white film and two years is nothing, generally speaking...
