I just returned from a 2D trip to Malacca - The Historical State of Malaysia. This historical RED CITY has been listed as a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO since 7 July 2008. The place is simply SUPERB and full of historical remnants.

Here are some photos from my trip. C & Cs are most welcome! :):

Picture 1 - Christ Church Malacca

Christ Church is the oldest Protestant church in Malaysia. A legacy of the Dutch era, Christ Church was built
in the 18th century with bricks which were specially brought in from Zeeland in Holland. It was built to
commemorate the centennial of Dutch rule in Malacca. Construction began in 1741, and completed in 1753.

Picture 2 - Queen Victoria Memorial Fountain

The Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Fountain was erected in 1904 by the people
of Malacca to commemorate Her Majesty's 60th anniversary on the British throne.

Picture 3 - Kg. Keling Mosque

One of the oldest surviving mosque in Malaysia. Love the mixture of Chinese, Indian and Malay architecture in the mosque

I'm dizzy from looking at those. They're a little bit too skewed for me, but other than that they look great.
