External Flash and other accesories

I have an olympus SP-600UZ and I was wondering if there was any type of external flash that I could add to it to use. I also saw somewhere that they sell filters to add to this camera with an adapter tube but I was wondering if that would be worth it to invest in? Thanks

You could pick up a slave flash - meaning one that will go off whenever it sees another flash go off - but from what I can tell that camera doesn't support an external flash. If you got a slave flash, you would just have to fire the on-camera flash and it would cause the slave flash to fire as well.

I wouldn't bother with filters for that camera. Most filters can be replicated in Photoshop, and the ones that can't wouldn't make much sense to have on a camera without manual exposure controls (with the possible exception of a circular polarizer).

Thank you for the help. I was also thinking that by the time I would add stuff to the camera I could just as easily save up and invest in a better SLR camera
