Fair Haven Fields (NJ) Nature Area

My younger brother bought a new digital camera (Canon Powershot S3 IS), so to give him some on location training, we went out into the nearby Fair Haven Fields Nature Area in Fair Haven, NJ, which is my hometown. These are some of the photos I shot while we walked around for about an hour.

SkyscraperSunset, it is always adviseable to number your photos once you post more than about 3 or 4 in one thread, that would make responding and commenting a lot easier for the viewers.

I like what I see and feel reminded of what there is around me ... muddy paths are "the norm" right now

, and flooded areas are so, too.

The visual dynamics given by the last photo shown are interesting. I wonder what it is that makes the photo "move" in a zooming manner for me, if it is the angle or the bokeh ... :scratch: ... I really don't know.

I also quite like the POV and simplicity of the last but one photo.

And those pigeons are of a kind that I have never seen before!
