I do realize that most of the photos in that set are soft....my lens is incredibly soft at 70mm.....The curse of using a 17-70 to try to take candid people shots. Just doesn't work.

In general, the backs of people's heads are not very compelling, however the last photo makes some sense because of the apparent action, coaxing the embers into a flame. .

2 of the photos look somewhat under exposed.

All 3 have distractions in them, both foreground and background.

I don't have any criticism, but #1 is cracking me up. Oh the possible captions!

Underexposed? Lesson learned: Don't do post when eyes are tired.

Yup. One of the downfalls of not having a telephoto. People always saw the camera and acted differently. I have since rectified the error. There is a 50-200mm in the mail. Should be here tomorrow.

Here's one more for C&C.

Actually, I see one error already: Not getting enough of the kids in the picture. There were about 10 kids or so sitting down on blankets, listening intently.
