Good looking leaves and good texture. I'd try to address the harsh light, if possible. I ran into this recently with bright sun, so I understand that it's tough to deal with. I'd recommend heading out on a cloudy day, and in my experience, the more overcast the better. With clouds, the light gets nicely distributed thought a longer shutter speed is needed. The fall colors also are much richer with overcast weather.

Agree with Chaz above. Harsh light can be challenging. The do look a bit overexposed. A little PP should easily solve that tho.
