fallen leaves...end of the season

Our wonderful season of changing hues of fall leaves is coming to a close. The colorful leaves we've enjoyed the last few weeks decorating trees against the sky have now mostly fallen to the ground where they give us one last chance to see this natural splender. Here a couple of images of fallen big leaf maple, Pacific dogwood, and white alder leaves from my Yosemite Valley wanderings last week.
