I just got my camera a few weeks ago and I am finally confident enough to share a few. Both were taken with a Nikon D5200 and processed a little in Lightroom. Please let me know what you think!

I don't like the power lines in this one, but I think they're subtle enough to make it work.

#1 pretty good, but it needs straightening.
#2 interesting light on the clouds, but not much else.
#3 has possibilities, but I don't think you got the best out of this composition.

#3 You should clone the power lines out IMO.

Id clone out the power lines too.
What is that orange on the top center of number 2?

Thanks for the input! I'll work on the power lines.

Top center on #2 is the moon.

Oh interesting! Do you have any pics with the moon in the image?

have to go darker IMO.

I have one more that shows a little more moon, but it was just too bright and I couldn't get it to work. There's probably something I could've done to make it work but I'm still learning!

I've found that the less moon there is the better. Makes for more of a night feel rather than a dark day, if that makes sense.

Makes sense. After showing some family a few that I took last week, I had to tell them they were taken at midnight and not at dusk!
