fashion photography poses

I am doing photography shoots in the street with a model, (we're both newbies, but we want to mutually help each other build their portfolio)

What are some must take shots? She is displaying her fashion clothes in street, and i would like to show off her style.

Majority will be in the street, does someone have a general list of shots i should attempt?


Maybe like full body, chest/neck close up, sun in the back? sun in the front? shoes close up, etc... Just looking for general direction, a list of shots or some important shots to display where i can work off of and build my own style would be great!

Your best bet is to search for fashion photographers, and view their portfolios. Find shots that you like, and try to emulate them. Don't copy, but try and mimic a certain pose, technique, etc. I found this to be hugely useful when I started portraiture (and I still do that today). Certain poses and lighting combinations work, so there's no harm in getting inspiration from others work.
