It's cherylP (my mom) I am doing some more of her and my dad on his new motorcycle, which should be cool.

Any ideas for that type of thing let me know.

IMO these are all really good - very attractive woman.
Lots of character, color and pose.
The only nit I have is that #4 & #6 seem 'bosom' oriented.
- pale skin in cleavage of 4 and the black bra in 6 hurt the shots and I don't these shots are the caliber of the others.

It's a close race but #5 is my favorite with everything else except 4 & 6) a close second. I would crop it differently to remove some of the unneded torso and bring the face more into the thirds (and make it much cheaper to frame).

Hey I was just thinking of you... I haven't heard from you in a while, hope things are good.

I agree with you on everything you said. As far as 'bosom oriented' lol she's definately got em' haha and these are for my dad - their 30th wedding anniversary is approaching but thanks for the input on the pale skin of them in number 4. I will have to try to do something with that.
The black bra is intentional, I think she wanted a sort of 'dirty girl' feel to those ones, that is wierd to say about my own mom :blushing:.
Your crop is excellent. I have a tendency to leave them as they were shot so that when sizes are chosen I don't lose anything in printing larger ones but I should think about ignoring that just for putting them on the web.

I did not think of that particular crop though, I was leaving more of her midsection in but that one does do something for it! Thanks again.

I don't know what the pros think but I would like to see two crops on this one....one with everything below the braclet gone, and one with just the face..close up if you can do it and not have it look weird!!! for some reason the elbows are a huge distraction..eyes are drawn right to them, and the missing second hand throws it off

This is your mom?? She looks more like your sister. My favorites are #1 and #2. Although, I would crop some off the top in #1 so the bright spot doesn't show so much in the upper left. Great colors.

Thanks a lot. I will think about that crop cause I think that's a good idea too. Yes people think all the time that she is my sister. They never beleive that my kids are her grandchildren!

God, how cool is your Mom?????
I love them all. My fave is the stone wall (with the crop just like it is originally.)

Ha, she is pretty cool. I just love that location with the stone wall, and its right under a train trussel (sp?) at the end of my street. I didn't even tap all of the possiblities in that location with this shoot! You'll probably see it again!

#8 is my least favorite, as it makes her arms look huge! But the concept is great!

Wish my mom would let me take her picture like that. I can't even get her to do a natural smile. :banghead:

Yes she was very good about it. A little nervous but she did great. And that is the same dress in 4 and 6 but in 4 she was in direct sunlight and in 6 she was in shade in the water so reflections and whatnot give the illusion of different plus a bit of saturation on my part.
