Female Cardinal

Here's a couple shots of a female cardinal. I was waiting for paint to dry so decided to snap a few photo's...she was waiting on the fence for me to get settled before she went to the bird feeder.

Ok now I sat down and she decided it was safe to go and eat!​

The female cardinal is one of my favorite birds - the variety of colors is so interesting!

Really nice captures; it pays to be patient with them, doesn't it? :thumbsup:
