Fence Post and a ... Bug??

I REALLY don't know what kind of bug this is.. I thought it was a fly, but the back end of it was yellow with black stripes and it has a green head... so.. it's just a bug lol. Anyways, I was testing my cam to see if I could take a close up of a bug since I just happen to see it sitting on my car.
