P.S. Both pictures shot on a Minolta Dynax 5, TMax 400, 70-210 f4 beercan, at 90mm and wide open aperture.

Well, I think they are both nice. Each of them could be used in different circumstances.
The first one is a little more serious and the second one is more dramatic.
Just my humble opinion.

I like to fill the frame so the first one (no 3) does it for me.

At first I thought I like the second one better but after looking at them for a while, I think that the first one is a little stronger. I realize you commented on this but in the first one the elbows cut off looks a little more intentional.
