Recently I found out about FIAP and their national saloons of photography... so I sent some images to one international saloon of photography last week. I wasn't really hoping for anything, just wanted to see/know how things work...
Long story short, I had some issues with uploading photos so I was talking to the woman who runs administrative stuff, we exchanged a few nice emails (women always like to talk)...and next thing you know, in the evening I got a really friendly e-mail from her husband (who's one of the members of the jury) saying some nice things about my photography and after a few e-mails with him, he asked me to come and be present while the jury works.
So... I met them, the jury, and was present while they worked.
Does anyone here have any experience or FIAP or PSA? Do you have any opinion about their saloons/exhibitions/the way they work/images they accept or choose?
I'll say my opinion based on what I saw that day and what I talked about with the members of the jury later because I run out of time. Got to go now
